POUND RIDGE LIONS CLUB
	2009 - 2010 CALENDAR
The Program year for all Lion Clubs runs from July 1^st through June 30^th. The following is our 2009-2010 Calendar of regular meetings and activities. Members should utilize the Calendar in the Members Only Section for up to date information. The executive Committee meets on the 2^nd Tuesday of each month at the Pound Ridge Ambulance Building starting at 7:30PM. Click on the links to learn more about each event.
JULY	Our monthly meeting is a Dinner Meeting and will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $15.00. No Guest Speaker scheduled.
AUGUST	Our monthly meeting will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $15. No guest speaker scheduled.
SEPTEMBER	On September 12^th we will be sponsoring a Community Fair at the Pound Ridge Town Park from Noon to 5PM. This is a fundraiser. Our monthly meeting will be held Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM Dinner fee is $15. No Guest Speaker scheduled at this time.
OCTOBER	Every weekend throughout the month of October our Pumpkin Patch is open to the public from 10AM to 5PM. This is a fundraiser. Our monthly meeting will be a combined Zone 5 (Mt Kisco, Bedford Village, Bedford Hills and Pound Ridge) Dinner Meeting and will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $30.00. Our program will include a profile on our Zone 5 Nursing Scholarship and we will make our local selection for the United Nations Peace Poster Competition. On October 31^st we participate in the Halloween Walk.
NOVEMBER	Our monthly meeting will be held on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM at the Long Ridge Tavern. Cash Bar - Dinner fee is $30.00. No guest speaker scheduled at this time.
DECEMBER	There is no regular meeting for the month of December. However, on second Sunday in December from 1PM to 4PM we will be holding our Annual Holiday Luncheon at La Chateau. During the Luncheon we will present this year’s Citizen of the Year Award .
JANUARY	Our monthly meeting is a Dinner Meeting and will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $15.00. No guest speaker scheduled at this time.
FEBRUARY	Our monthly meeting will be held atConant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $15.00. Our Guest Speakers will be Lion DG Cary Smolen. They will talk about District, State and International Lion programs.
MARCH	On March 17^th we will be sponsoring a St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon for our community Senior Citizens. Our monthly meeting will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $15.00.
APRIL	On Thursday April 19^th we will coordinate Project See for all local pre school children. Our monthly meeting will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. Dinner fee is $15.00.
MAY	Our monthly meeting is a Dinner Meeting and will be held at Conant Hall on the 4^th Tuesday of the Month from 7:15PM to about 9:30PM. No guest speaket scheduled at this time. Dinner fee is $15.00. On May 28^th we participate in the community Memorial Day Observances
JUNE	On the 1^st Sunday in June from Noon to 2PM we will present our Youth Community Service Awards at the Pound Ridge Town House. On June 20^th we will participate in the Lion Zone 5 Nursing Scholarship presentation. On the last Tuesday of June from 6:30PM to 9:30PM we will be holding our Annual Barbecue.
