POUND RIDGE
	Lions Club Ambulance
The Pound Ridge Lions Club formed the first Ambulance Corp in the community in 1965 and purchased its first ambulance in 1966. For over thirty years the Lions Club and the Lions Ambulance Corp. operated together. During that time the Club members trained in first aid, raised money to purchase several replacement ambulances and the funds to build a facility to house the ambulance. In the late 1990’s, the two organizations split into separate management entities. However, both organizations share the building and work together.
